We worship the three-eyed Lord Shiva who is fragrant and who nourishes all. Like the fruit falls off from the bondage of the stem, may we be liberated from death, from mortality.

Salutations to Shiva who wears the king of serpents as a garland, who has three eyes, whose body is smeared with ashes, who is the great Lord, who is eternal, pure, and who wears the directions as His garment.
A beautiful hymn that describes the divine attributes of Lord Shiva. Each syllable represents the five elements of creation.
करचरणकृतं वाक् कायजं कर्मजं वा

O Lord, forgive the wrongs that I have done by actions of my hands and feet, by my words, by my body, by my ears and eyes, or by my mind. Whether done consciously or unconsciously, forgive them all. Victory to You, O ocean of compassion, O great God, O giver of happiness!

I bow to that eternal Shiva Linga, which is adored by Brahma, Vishnu and other Gods, which is pure and resplendent, and which destroys the sorrows of birth and death.
